Holiday shopping highlighted with weekend bazaars on Peninsula

With five weeks left until Christmas, many organizations and groups have planned fairs, bazaars and events to help residents prepare for the coming holidays.

Here are bazaars set this weekend on the North Olympic Peninsula:

SEQUIM

Holiday bazaar

SEQUIM — Greywolf Elementary PTA will host its annual holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the school.

The free event at the school, 171 Carlsborg Road, will offer holiday decor, a food bar, crafts, jewelry, gifts, a raffle and baked goods for sale.

A professional photographer will be present to take holiday portraits at reasonable prices.

Christmas bazaar

SEQUIM — Faith Lutheran Preschool will hold a Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar will be held at the church, 354 W. Sequim Ave.

The preschool plans a bazaar with handmade items, a silent auction and pre-made gift baskets. There will also be a bake sale and lunch.

Holiday bazaar

SEQUIM — The Sequim Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital will host its ninth annual holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Sequim Prairie Grange.

Many items will be for sale at the bazaar at the grange, 290 Macleay Road.

Holiday bazaar

SEQUIM — The Sequim Elks Lodge will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

There will be many items for sale, and breakfast and lunch will be served at the lodge, 143 Port Williams Road.

There will be items from local artisans and vendors, gift items, holiday decor, fiber art, glass, jewelry and clothing for sale.

Yuletide bazaar

SEQUIM — Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church will host its yuletide bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Lunch will also be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 925 N. Sequim Ave.

Unique handcrafted items, baked goods and art for home and garden will be for sale.

Proceeds will benefit local charities.

PORT ANGELES

Holiday craft sale

PORT ANGELES — First Presbyterian Church plans a holiday boutique craft sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The event will be held at the church, 139 W. Eighth St.

There will be handmade items and gifts using fabric, soap, glass and other materials for sale.

Credit cards will be accepted for payment.

Holiday gift bazaar

PORT ANGELES — A holiday gift bazaar will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Elks Naval Lodge No. 353.

The free bazaar at 131 E. First St. will be packed with crafters and vendors.

There will be a variety of hats, blankets, candles, jewelry, stained glass, kitchenwares, makeup, house cleaning and other goods for sale.

QUILCENE

Christmas celebration

QUILCENE — The Picket Fence will hold its Christmas celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Saturday.

The store at 22 Washington St. will have gifts, vintage items and handmade goods for sale.

FORKS

Christmas bazaar

FORKS — The Forks Emblem Club No. 488 will hold a holiday bazaar from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Forks Elks Lodge.

Local crafts, handmade goodies and other items will be for sale at the lodge, 941 Merchants Road.

Lunch also will be served.
