Holiday gift shopping offered on Peninsula

Holiday bazaars continue to be offered across the North Olympic Peninsula this weekend.

Handmade gifts for the season can be found at these fairs, listed by community.

PORT ANGELES

Handmade for heroes

PORT ANGELES — Handmade for Heroes Inc. will hold its Holiday for Heroes Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar will be at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2843 E. Myrtle St.

Lunch will be available.

Fall Bazaar

PORT ANGELES — Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will host its Fall Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The bazaar, at 301 N. Lopez Ave., will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, Volunteers in Medicine of the Olympics and Holy Trinity’s Dishwasher Fund.

Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 a.m.

The bazaar will feature hand-crafted gifts, baked goods, homemade soaps and fair trade gifts.

There will also be a lefse demonstration and sale. Lefse is a traditional soft Norwegian flatbread.

Holiday Bazaar

PORT ANGELES — St. Matthews Catholic Church will host its 2018 Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar will be in the church at 132 E. 13th St.

The bazaar will feature hats and gloves, holiday decorations, Christmas gifts, baked goods, jellies, jams and candies. Visitors are urged to bring cameras for pictures with Saint Nicholas from 10 a.m. to noon.

Proceeds will support church projects.

Shopping Expo

PORT ANGELES — The second annual Holiday Shopping Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The Expo will be held in the Masonic Temple, 622 S. Lincoln St.

CARLSBORG

PTA Bazaar

CARLSBORG — Greywolf Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Association will host a holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The bazaar will be at Greywolf Elementary School, 171 Carlsborg Road.

The bazaar will feature more than 70 handcraft booths and art classes by Pour, Sip and Paint.

The kitchen will be run by the Blackbird Coffeehouse.

SEQUIM

Farmers market

SEQUIM — The Sequim Farmers Market will host a sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The market will be inside the Guy Cole Convention Center, Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake St.

The sale includes a gift wrapping booth in partnership with the Sequim Food Bank.

Yuletide Bazaar

SEQUIM — Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church will host a Yuletide Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar at 925 N. Sequim Ave., will benefit local nonprofits.

The bazaar will feature decorations for the tree or table, wreaths and swags, winter wear, jewelry, Advent calendars, garden art and kitchen conveniences.

Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Christmas bazaar

SEQUIM — Faith Lutheran Preschool will host its annual Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar will be at 354 W. Cedar St.

Wreath workshop

SEQUIM — The Sequim Irrigation Festival Innovative Arts and Crafts Fair will host a second Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose workshop session focused on making a holiday wreath at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The workshop will be at 895 Sporseen Road, Sequim.

Cost is $15. Funds from the workshop support the Sequim Irrigation Festival Innovative Arts and Crafts Fair in May.

A variety of repurposed materials and festive frill will be supplied; participants are encouraged to bring a special ornament, keepsake or item to add to their wreath(s).

Arts and Crafts fair

PORT TOWNSEND — New Life Church will host an Arts and Crafts Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The fair will be in the New Life Church of Port Townsend, 1636 Hasting Ave.

QUILCENE

Country Christmas

QUILCENE — The Picket Fence will host a market at several buildings and open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Picket Fence & Friends Country Christmas will have vendors with handmade and vintage gifts, and specials at places within a block of the Picket Fence at 22 Washington St.

FORKS

Holiday shopping

FORKS — The Emblem Club will host a Holiday Bazaar Arts & Crafts Show at the Forks Elks Lodge on Saturday.

The bazaar will be from noon to 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge at 941 Merchant Road.

Local crafts and homemade goodies will be available, as well as lunch.
