Holiday bazaars set on Peninsula

Holiday shopping is offered at bazaars on the North Olympic Peninsula this weekend.

• Christmas Cottage Holiday Bazaar

SEQUIM — The Sequim Guild of Seattle Children’s will host the Christmas Cottage Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The annual bazaar is at 81 Timothy Lane, Sequim.

The bazaar features handcrafted Christmas items and specialty gifts.

Hot beverages, fresh scones and other goodies are available in the Bakery Cafe.

Proceeds support research and uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

• Kindred Holiday Market

PORT ANGELES — The Kindred Holiday Market is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The market is on the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles.

The market features local makers offering vintage and handcrafted goods; a wreath workshop with Grove Floral; pictures with Santa by Lexi Jordan Photography; and food and drinks.

• Wintertide Festival of Lights

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center will host the Wintertide Festival of Lights from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

The festival is in Webster’s Woods Sculpture Park, 1201 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

The festival features live music, fire dancing, lighted art, food and drink and a lantern walk through the sculpture park.

• RainShadow Artisans

SEQUIM — The Rainshadow Artisans will display their work from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The sale will be in the Dungeness River Nature Center, 1943 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim.

The collective boasts artisans with a broad range of hand-crafted products.

• Holiday Market

PORT ANGELES — The Holiday Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The market at Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles, will offer goods from local small businesses.

Santa will be visiting from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for photos. Pets and children are welcome to have photos taken with Santa.

The Grinch might be on hand, too.

Peninsula Friends of Animals (PFOA) will operate a booth and there will be a donation box for shelter and shelter programs, spay/neuter clinics, pet food and toys. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase with all proceeds supporting PFOA.

• Chimacum Arts and Crafts Fair

CHIMACUM — The 36th Chimacum Arts and Crafts Fair will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The annual fair is in Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.

The fair features handmade gifts including gold and silver, textiles, candles and woodworking.
