Holiday bazaars set on Peninsula

Holiday bazaars are set for the weekend and beyond on the North Olympic Peninsula.

PORT TOWNSEND

• The Port Townsend Arts Guild will present its 30th Annual Winter Arts & Crafts Fair today and Saturday.

The fair, set from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at the Port Townsend Community Center at Lawrence and Tyler streets, will fill all floors with a wide variety of handcrafted items from local artisans.

PORT LUDLOW

• The Port Ludlow Art League will host its Holiday Arts Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The fair is at the Beach Club, 121 Marina View Drive.

The event will feature artwork from local artists, including jewelry, ceramics, baskets, woodwork, photographs, paintings, stained glass, textiles, cards and books.

Proceeds will benefit the league’s Scholarship Fund for Jefferson County school and youth programs.

PORT ANGELES

• The Answer For Youth will host the Candy Cane Christmas Cabin from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The event is in the Sprouting Hope Greenhouse, 826 E. First St.

The fundraiser features an auction for decorated Christmas trees as well as a silent auction for Christmas baskets, wreaths, centerpieces, homemade jams, poinsettias and gifts.

• Food Bank Wreath Raffle tickets are on sale.

SisterLand Farms makes Christmas wreaths for the Port Angeles Food Bank Wreath Raffle.

Tickets for the online raffle are $10 each at www.tinyurl.com/PDN-Wreath- Raffle and proceeds benefit the Port Angeles Food bank.

The farm will donate one handmade wreath for every 50 tickets purchased by Friday, Dec. 9.
