Holiday bazaars set on Peninsula

Holiday bazaars are set for the next few days on the North Olympic Peninsula.

SEQUIM

• The Dungeness River Nature Center will host its annual River Center Holiday Nature Mart from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Attendees can shop for handcrafted gifts and ornaments, flower arrangements and wreath making and baked goods while getting holiday photos and seeing thousands of lights on the historic Railroad Bridge at the center, 1943 W. Hendrickson Road.

The sale coincides with Saturday’s bridge lighting at 5 p.m.; Hurricane Coffee at the River will stay open until 7 p.m. that day, with hot drinks available all day.

All proceeds from Nature Mart support the Dungeness River Nature Center’s education programs.

The center’s Nature Mart event started in 2006 but hasn’t been held since 2019 because of COVID concerns.

Call 360-681-4076 or see DungenessRiverCenter.org for more information.
