Holiday bazaars on Peninsula this weekend

More holiday bazaars are planned this weekend to help provide gifts to Peninsula shoppers

CHIMACUM

Arts and Crafts Fair

CHIMACUM — The 32nd Chimacum Arts and Crafts Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The annual fair will be held at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.

The public is invited to meet in front of the school at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for a community picture. Admission to the fair, which features more than 100 vendors, is $3.

The Chimacum High School Interact Club will sponsor a Santa booth at the fair.

Pictures will cost $7 per print and the proceeds will be used to support a school in Thailand, Heifer International and global efforts to eradicate polio.

Farmer’s Craft Fair

CHIMACUM — The Farmer’s Craft Fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

The fair will be at Chimacum Grange, 9572 Rhody Drive.

The free fair features live music, children’s activities and locally made gifts.

Bonnie Obremski will perform from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday followed by the Out of the Blue Trio from noon to 2 p.m.

Micaela Knight will perform from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

PORT ANGELES

Meet at the Market

PORT ANGELES — Meet us at the Market will be open for holiday shopping this weekend.

Admission to the market from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. today will be $5.

Admission is free from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The holiday shopping event will be held at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St.

The market features more than 35 vendors with gifts, decor, collectibles, music and food.
