Holiday bazaars offer goods for gifts

North Olympic Peninsula holiday bazaars offer hand-made gifts and Christmas decorations this week.

Here is the list.

Holiday Fair

PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson County Fair Association will host its 15th annual Holiday Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The fair will be at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, 4907 Landes St.

Pictures with Santa will be available from noon to 4 p.m. both days.

The fair will feature arts, crafts, holiday gifts and an hourly raffle.

The fair restaurant will be open.

Open house

SEQUIM — Over the Fence will host its annual Christmas Open House from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.

The public can see the store’s Christmas decor throughout the day at 112 E. Washington St.

In addition to a community raffle, demonstrations are planned at noon and 3 p.m.

Holiday Bazaar

SEQUIM — Philanthropic Education Organization (PEO) chapter JC will hold its 10th annual Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar offers hand-made crafts, Christmas decorations, home-made baked goods, hand-made cards, used books, puzzles and plants.

Raffle tickets will be available for $1 each with a drawing at 1 p.m. The three winners do not need to be present.

Prizes for the raffle include a twin bead quilt by local quilter Esther Alward, a set of quilted place mats and table runner and a ceramic cookie jar full of treats.

Also scheduled is a silent auction for a hand cross-stitched, double-bed quilt made during the 1960s in St. Joseph, Mo.

The bazaar raises funds for the PEO’s international scholarships, grants and loans to local women to help with education.

Holiday House

PORT ANGELES — The United Methodist Church will present a Holiday House Bazaar from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The church at 110 E. Seventh St., will offer baked goods and home preserves, a gifting showcase, a garden shop, See’s Candy, books and free children’s activities as well as the Holiday House Cafe with soup, chowder, sandwiches and pie.
