PORT ANGELES — Bill Baccus and Steve Fradkin will present “High Mountain Lakes Response to Shifting Climate” at 12:35 p.m. Thursday.
The presentation is part of the Studium Generale spring lecture series in the library classroom, B-150, on Peninsula College’s Port Angeles campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Baccus and Fradkin, ecologists at Olympic National Park, will discuss the importance of mountain lakes.
Other presentations in the weekly lecture series will include Writer-in-Residence Caroline Fraser on May 15, “Olympic Connect” by Erin Hawkins and Miranda Burger on May 22, “Weaving Together Seven Generations” by Corey Larson and Willie Frank III on May 29, 12th annual Moving Pictures Film Festival on June 5 and an all-day event “Lifting the Old Ways: Memories of the 1989 Paddle to Seattle and its Legacy” on June 12.
