Habitat to honor community partners at Taste of Peninsula

SEQUIM — Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County will celebrate its community partners at its third annual A Taste of the Peninsula on Saturday.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. at Sunland Golf & Country Club at 109 Hilltop Drive.

Tickets are $100.

13 food, drink sellers

Thirteen purveyors of food and libations will offer savory and sweet tastings.

They are Double Eagle Steak and Seafood, The Sweet Beginning, Jose’s Famous Salsa, The Emerald Northwest Grill and Public House, That Takes the Cake, Wind Rose Cellars and WeDo Fudge, all of Sequim; as well as Harbinger winery, Coyote Grill, Michael’s Steak and Seafood, Camaraderie Cellars, H20 and Olympic Cellars of Port Angeles,

Attendees will have free photos taken of them when they arrive.

Sequim High School students will serve as table ushers.

After the welcome, local eateries will offer bites of their signature dishes, and attendees can mingle with friends.

Once seated again, Habitat officials will honor community partners in 2016.

Raising money for Fund-A-Need

The focus of this year’s Fund-A-Need is neighborhood revitalization.

Habitat will raise money for programs in the area.
