‘Gunmetal Blues’ playing at Key City Theatre through April

PORT TOWNSEND — “Gunmetal Blues,” a hard-boiled detective tale disguised as a lounge act, will be on stage at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and at 1:30 p.m. Sundays.

The musical opened Thursday and will run through April 28 at the Key City Public Theatre, 419 Washington St.

Tickets range from $18 to $53 per person and can be purchased from the box office, at 360-385-5278, or online at www.keycitypublictheatre.org.

The noir musical, which is recommended for ages 13 and older, is based on a book by Scott Wentworth with music and lyrics by Craig Bohmler and Marion Adler.

The musical stars Christa Holbrook, Geoffrey Simmons and Mark Rabe and is directed by Brendan Chambers with musical direction by Linda Dowdell.
