Golden Shoals, of Amy Alvey and Mark Kilianski, hit their stride following a name change in 2020 that reflected an adventurous approach to traditional American music, organizers said.

Over the past 10 years, Golden Shoals has evolved and grown, drawing inspiration from American folk, country, Americana, Indie and experimental influences.

Their music transcends genre boundaries while maintaining a deep appreciation for old-time and bluegrass traditions, organizers said.

Joining the lineup is The Lowest Pair, a banjo duo formed by Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee Coming together by chance on the banks of the Mississippi, Winter and Lee embarked on a musical journey that has taken them across North America and the UK. The two have produced five albums.

Local party-folk animals Sweater Weather Stringband will open. Best known for their energetic live shows, this event will see them exploring a more subdued sound, with a smaller lineup, pared-down arrangements of their existing repertoire, and lots of new songs, organizers said.
