Harbor Art aritsts to be on hand on Second Saturday

PORT ANGELES — The photographs of Roger Mosley will be featured at Harbor Art Gallery this month.

Mosley and other artists exhibiting at the co-op will be on hand for the Second Saturday Art Walk this coming weekend.

On Saturday, the gallery at 114 North Laurel St. in Port Angeles will be open until 7 p.m. Usually, it is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Mosley’s love of nature has been informed by his career at the state Department of Fish and Wildlife, he said, adding that he traversed Northwest rivers and streams to count spawning fish.

“I have this voice inside me like all artists do that gives direction for my work, which is natural and rural landscape photography,” Mosley said.

Mosley’s featured work will be a potpourri of landscape images emphasizing fog and frost, along with a large metal print of the Elwha River during peak fall foliage.

“There may be some surprises,” he added.

“I’m inspired to capture those scenes and moments that collectively give this landscape its beauty,” he added.

Other local artists showcased at the gallery are Bob Stokes and Cindy Elstrom, Carolyn Guske, Robert Amaral, Kelly Coffey, Garret Delabarre, Terri Ench, Tammy Hall, David Johannessohn, Susan Kantowitz, Ruth Kaspin, Nancy McFaul, Gail McLain, Eric Neurath, Randy and Sallie Radock, Jodi Riverstone, Nathan Shields, Lance and Haley Snider, Eileen Webb and Kevin Willson.
