Free outdoor concerts, karaoke sing out next week

SEQUIM — Many voices will be heard at Sequim’s annual karaoke night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and other outdoor concerts are planned in Sequim and Port Townsend tonight.

The special evening Tuesday is part of Sequim’s Music in the Park series at the James Center for Performing Arts, 563 N. Rhodefer Road.

It is one of the free outdoor concerts that will reverberate across the North Olympic Peninsula this coming week.

Blue Rhinos will perform a blues dance concert infused with Latin and funk from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Port Angeles’ Concert on the Pier at City Pier, 315 N. Lincoln St., Port Angeles.

Rooster Crow will perform alt-country rock at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Pope Marine Plaza, 621 Water St., for Concerts on the Dock in Port Townsend.

A additional free outdoor concert is planned in Sequim at noon today.

Ken Young will be the featured performer at Performers on the Plaza. He will play pop, classical and ragtime piano music at the Civic Center Plaza, 152 W. Cedar St.
