Free holiday meals planned on Peninsula

Free holiday meals are planned on the North Olympic Peninsula on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The dinners are arranged by community.

CHIMACUM

Free Christmas meal

CHIMACUM — Donations from the Farm’s Reach have made a free dinner available at Tri-Area Community Center on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.

The community center is at 10 West Valley Road, Chimacum.

No reservations are required to attend.

If you would like to donate in support of the meal, if you need to have a meal delivered to your home, or you would like to volunteer, call 360-732-4822.

PORT TOWNSEND

Boiler Room meal

PORT TOWNSEND — The Boiler Room is going to serve a small meal on Christmas day at 3 p.m.

Ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad and maybe a side veggie will be served for free at 711 Water St.

Hardy’s Market meal

SEQUIM — Hardy’s Market invites the public to a complimentary traditional holiday meal at 11 a.m. Christmas Eve.

The market at 10200 Old Olympic Highway will offer the meal dine-in or takeout (one per person) while supplies last.

Kettel’s free dinner

SEQUIM — Kettel’s 76 will offer a free traditional Christmas dinner from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve on Sunday.

Free 12-ounce fountain drinks and coffee also will be served at 194 W. Washington St.

‘Feeding 5,000’ dinner

FORKS — All are welcome at Forks Community Center to the “Feeding 5,000: Christmas Dinner” from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Christmas Day.
