Fall fest set this weekend at Extreme Sports Park

PORT ANGELES — Fall Fest NW Family Fun will open at 4 p.m. today and continue through the weekend.

The annual festival will be at the Extreme Sports Park, 2917 W. Edgewood Drive, Port Angeles.

Daily admission is $10 per person, $8 for kids 12 and younger. Tickets are available at www.extreme sportspark.net.

Today is Kids’ Day, during which kids will be admitted for free from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The festival also is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Activities include helicopter rides, a carnival gaming area, a spooky trail, chainsaw carving demonstrations, hay rides, electric jeep race course, a choo-choo train ride and a dual zip-line ride.

There also will be an indoor movie theater in the daytime and outdoor movie theater at night, a live DJ and karaoke, food and drinks, a beer garden, a makers market and Gossage’s Ol’ Trucks showcase.

“Fall Fest is all about bringing the community together for a weekend of laughter, music and memories,” said Jessica Johnson, an event coordinator for the Extreme Sports Park. “We’re thrilled to welcome families back for another year of fun at ESP.”
