Exhibit ‘not in Kansas anymore’

Northwind Art highlights more artists

PORT TOWNSEND — Northwind Art’s long-running Artist Showcase, a juried and curated exhibit series of the region’s premier artists, extends into 2021 with new work from 2020’s 31 selected artists.

In a nod to the tumultuous year behind us, some of the participating artists worked with the theme: “Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.”

The exhibit at the gallery at 701 Water St. opens Thursday and will extend through March 28.

Artist Showcase’s 2020 roster of 2D and 3D artistic styles range from classical to abstract in oils, watercolors, pastels, photography, encaustic, ceramics, metal and wood.

Artists include Tamera Abate, Robert Basta, Jinx Bryant, Kathy Constantine, Jeanne Edwards, Duane Ervin, James Ferrara, Harry Goldstrom, Brian Goodman, Joyce Hester, Meg Kaczyk, Tracy LeMoine, Wanda Mawhinney, Evan Miller, Marian Morris, Roger Morris, Jason Mullins, Scott Pascoe, Elizabeth Reutlinger, Jim Romberg, Kathleen Secrest, Kim Simonelli, Mark Skullerud, Michele Soderstrom, Kristen Taylor, Linda Tilley, Kerry Tremain, Diane Walker, Chris Witkowski, Debra Wuts and Joe Wuts.
