A variety of entertainment is planned on the North Olympic Peninsula this weekend.
• Blue Moon Marquee will perform at the Bay Club in Port Ludlow at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Tickets are $35 to the concert, hosted by the Port Ludlow Performing Arts (PLPA) at the Bay Club at 120 Spinnaker Place in Port Ludlow.
• Gardiner Holiday Bazaar — The Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road, will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Chili lunch is for sale starting at 11 a.m.
Proceeds will benefit Project Linus.
• Makers Market — The Rainforest Council for the Arts will sponsor Makers Market from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Rainforest Arts Center, 35 N. Forks Ave., Forks.
The market features more than 30 local artists and makers and a raffle of vendor products.
• Mia Torres will perform from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock. No cover charge.
• Mike & Val James will perform from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday in the Spirits Bar at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock. No cover charge.
• The Free Rangers will perform from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Spirits Bar at the Old Alcohol Plant Inn, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock. No cover charge.
• Dawn Martin and Steve Anderson, with Rob Lowry, will perform from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road, Sequim. Admission is $12 per person, $10 for Elks members.
• Contra dance called by Eric Curl is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Black Diamond Community Hall, 1942 Black Diamond Road. Music will be provided by Na Nara.
A free dance lesson will be offered at 7 p.m.
Requested donation is $10 per person, $5 for youths younger than 18.
• Book sale by the Friends of the Sequim Library will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Friends’ storefront location in Rock Plaza, 10175 Old Olympic Highway.
The sale features new books suitable for holiday gifts, holiday music CD’s, puzzles and children’s books.
• Fossil week — Elizabeth A. Nesbitt and David B. Williams will promote their new book, “Spirit Whales and Sloth Tales: Fossils of Washington State” at several events in Port Townsend this weekend.
Nesbitt, a paleontologist, and Williams, a science writer, will present a gallery talk and book signing from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gallery in Flagship Landing, 1001 Water St.
The pair also will present “Washington’s Fossils — a new book presentation” during a meeting of the Quimper Geological Society at 4 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, 1202 Lawrence St.
At 3 p.m. Sunday, they will present “Fossils of Western Washington: A Marine Perspective” as part of the Future of Oceans lecture series in the Chapel on Fort Worden, 552 Battery Way.
• Genealogy lecture by Sara Cochran will present “Shaky Leaf Syndrome: Using Website Generated Hints More Effectively” at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Cochran will address a meeting of the Clallam County Genealogical Society over Zoom. The public can join the Zoom session or watch it at the society’s research center, 403 E.
