BAINBRIDGE ISLAND — Artists from throughout the Olympic Peninsula will display art this weekend during the 16th annual Summer Studio Tour on Bainbridge Island.
More than forty artists will be on hand showcasing their work in five local artists’ studios from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The Studio Tour is a free self-guided tour.

Artists Showcase
PORT TOWNSEND — The Artists Showcase, “Seeing Red,” will open at 11:30 this morning at Northwind Arts Center, 701 Water St.
An opening reception for the month-long special exhibit will be from 5:30 to 7:30 tonight.
Both 2D and 3D artists have created pieces to show their unique perspective on the theme of seeing red, according to a news release.
The exhibit closes at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30.
Exhibit hours are 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays, and from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Hank Cramer show
PORT TOWNSEND — Northwind Arts Center, 701 Water St., will host a live performance by folk singer Hank Cramer from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Tickets are $15 in advance at http://tinyurl.com/PDN-Hank-Cramer or $20 at the door.
During the concert, Cramer will sing a wide variety of acoustic music ranging from sea shanties to Celtic ballads to his original songs.
Cramer is perhaps best known in maritime circles as the “shantyman” aboard the tall ship Lady Washington, and has often performed for Port Townsend’s Wooden Boat Festival, according to a news release.
Cramer just released his 21st album, titled “Make The Rafters Ring.”
He has recorded soundtracks for three PBS television documentaries, and several music videos.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with music beginning at 7 p.m.
Refreshments will be served by Pippa’s Real Tea, with wine available for purchase.

Neon Lights Rave
PORT ANGELES — The Metta Room, 132 E. Front St., will host the inaugural Neon Lights Rave hosted by BackDropBrand & Silky D from 9 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday.
“The Metta will be holding an amazing night of respected creatives doing live art throughout the night in a black light, rave atmosphere to three DJs giving you electronic waves through the edm [and] trap genre,” said Duane Curtis, an event organizer.
Tickets are $6 at the door and include one entry to a prize raffle. Additional raffle tickets are $2 each.
“We will be raffling off items all night, with prizes such as a free tattoo [and] a $100 gift certificate for piercings,” Curtis said.
Attendees must be 21 and older to attend, and are encouraged to wear white.
Music will be provided by Rob “DJ Robotix” Kaulfur, Nick “DJ Gobslobber” Downs and Colin “DJ Faultline” Bronson, with live art by Kevin Dartling, Mike Anderson and Jonathan Promer.

Swing concert
PORT ANGELES — Camaraderie Cellars, 334 Benson Road, will host Stumptown Swing at 6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $20.
This group performs a set of hot, cool and sultry classics, featuring swinging groove and gorgeous acoustic instruments played with intelligence and passion by four masters of their craft, according to a news release.
