PORT TOWNSEND — The oldest continuous Easter egg hunt on the Peninsula will begin at 8 a.m. today.
The 89th hunt, hosted by the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, will be at Chetzemoka Park on Jackson Street at Blaine Street.
The hunt is one of the oldest in the state, according to lodge members.
Four age groups will hunt for eggs.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church invites youth to its annual community Easter egg hunt at noon today at the church at 1020 Jefferson St.

In Port Angeles, the KONP Easter Egg Hunt was at the Clallam County Fairgrounds.
The Pumpkin Patch Flea Market near Sequim hosted an Eggstravanza, which included an egg hunt of about 3,000 plastic eggs , while the Sequim Elks Lodge also provided a hunt.
In Joyce, the Kitchens Family Community Easter egg hunt was at the Crescent School grounds.
In Clallam Bay, the West End Youth & Community Club hosted a hunt at the local school.
The Hungry Bear Cafe & Motel in Beaver presented its 19th annual Easter egg hunt.
The 39th annual Community Easter Egg Hunt offered 1,500 dyed eggs and more than 500 plastic eggs filled with candy at Tillicum Park in Forks and the First Baptist Church of Forks had a series of events including a hunt featuring more than 2,000 plastic eggs containing candy and prizes.
