Easter egg hunts set for Saturday

Several local Easter egg hunts are scheduled this weekend.

• The Kitchens Family Community Easter Egg Hunt will start at 10 a.m. Saturday on the playground at Crescent School, 50350 state Highway 112, Joyce.

The annual community egg hunt is for children 10 and younger.

Attendees should bring their own basket and dress for the weather.

• Hop around Sherwood is set for 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Sherwood Assisted Living, 550 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim.

The indoor event features Easter eggs and candy from residents, pictures with the Easter Bunny, free bunny ears for the first 100 children and refreshments.

• The 46th KONP Easter Egg Hunt begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles.

Registration for the event is limited to children 8 and younger and begins at 8:15 a.m.

Participants must bring a registration slip with them.

Slips may be picked up at Swain’s General Store, 602 E. First St.; Fogtown Coffee Bar, 1105 E. Front St.; the Waterfront Bistro, 201 W. Front St.; Strait View Credit Union, 220 S. Lincoln St.; Anime Kat, 114 W. First St.; Grandview Grocery, 802 S. C St.; Jim’s Pharmacy, 424 E. Second St.; Hartnagel Building Supply, 3111 E. Highway 101; First Street Chevron, 601 E. First St.; and Angeles Millwork and Lumber, 1601 S. C St.

Registration slips are also available in Sequim at the Olympic Game Farm, 1423 Ward Road; the Co-Op Farm and Garden, 216 E. Washington St.; and Dungeness Kids Company, 163 W. Washington St.
