Duo to perform in Coyle

COYLE — The Black Feathers duo will perform at Concerts in the Woods on Sunday.

The show will be at 3 p.m. at the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center, 923 Hazel Point Road in Coyle.

Admission is by donation only. The suggested donation is $20.

The duo, made up of Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler, have been partners for 11 years. They have released three full studio CDs, several EPs and a live album (“Live at Tradfest”) recorded in Dublin, Ireland, in 2019.

They mix Americana, folk and acoustic Indie rock.

Having already built up a loyal following in the U.K., the duo has been working hard to spread its wings all across the U.S. They have performed at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Americana Fest, Juan de Fuca Festival, The Kate Wolf Festival and Mile of Music.

This will be the second time The Black Feathers will play Concerts in the Woods.
