Discussion series returning to Jefferson County library

PORT HADLOCK — The Great Decisions discussion series returns for its eighth year at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27.

The eight-week program will be facilitated by Joyce Francis at the Jefferson County Library, 620 Cedar Ave.

The discussion series is produced annually by the Foreign Policy Association and presented in moderated discussion groups nationwide.

This year’s topics are:

• Feb. 27 – Climate Change and the Global Order

• March 5 – India and Pakistan

• March 12 – Red Sea Security

• March 19 – Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

• March 26 – U.S. Relations with the northern Triangle

• April 9 – China’s Road into Latin America

• April 16 – The Philippines and the U.S.

• April 23 – Artificial Intelligence and Data

The group is free, open to the public, does not require registration and each topic stands alone.

The program is jointly sponsored by the library and Adult Learning Program at Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
