Dinner, murder show slated for tonight, Saturday

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Kiwanis Club will present Dinner and a Murder tonight and Saturday.

This year’s Dinner and a Murder, which is a combination of stage and screen, is entitled “Where Everybody Wants You Dead” — a comedy at the Oscar Ericksen Building at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, 4907 Landes St.

Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the show at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. both days.

Tickets are $55 each and can be purchased from www.brownpapertickets.com or from Mary Crozier at maryc@ptpc.com or by calling 360-531-0200. Individual tickets or tables of six are available.

The dinner show will be catered by GBF (God Bless Food) with proceeds going to both Kiwanis and Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP) Children’s Programs.

Dinner and a Murder was started in 2006 as a fundraiser for the OlyCAP RSVP program.

In 2015, the Kiwanis Club took over its sponsorship and it now serves as a fundraiser for both Kiwanis and OlyCAP’s programs.

This year’s show is written and directed by Ramon Daily and will be performed by the Port Townsend Mystery Players.

This group of young and more mature amateur actors donates all of their time and talent to the cause.

Port Townsend Kiwanis Club is part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of individuals dedicated to serving the world, one child and one community at a time. More than 13,000 clubs make their mark by responding to the need of their communities.
