Digital Big Library Read to end on Thursday

PORT ANGELES — The libraries in the North Olympic Library System are taking part in OverDrive’s Big Library Read program, the world’s largest global e-book reading club, which connects millions of readers around the world with the same e-book at the same time.

Patrons of NOLS libraries in Port Angeles, Sequim, Forks and Clallam Bay have unlimited downloadable access to Chelsea Sedoti’s debut novel, “The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett,” through Thursday.

Free access for NOLS library card holders began Oct. 12. “The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett” can be read on all major computers, phones and tablets. The e-book will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, and there are no late fees.

Readers can join an online conversation about the book at www.Big LibraryRead.com.

The Digital Book Club program is made possible through a partnership between NOLS, OverDrive and Sourcebooks, publisher of the book. Librarians and library readers voted “The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett” as their choice for the Big Library Read.

To borrow a copy of the e-book, visit the NOLS OverDrive website, also known as the Washington Anytime Library, at www.nols.org.
