Dancing queens at Studio Bob on Saturday

PORT ANGELES — The Paradiscos will return to Studio Bob bringing all the “glam” they can in their latest drag show at 8 p.m. Saturday.

This event promises a high-energy show complete with costumes, music and personalities — compliments of the Paradisco Dancing Queens, said studio owner Bob Stokes in a news release.

Tickets are $10 at the door at Studio Bob, 118½ E. Front St.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m.

The show’s hostess, Blake McCabe, now a well-known Seattle costume designer and drag performer, grew up in Port Angeles.

McCabe’s first “drag” performance was the Port Angeles High School end-of-the-year talent show.

One of the top most booked queens of Seattle, Lucy Paradisco, serves up faces of all shapes and forms, organizers said.

Sara Monét Paradisco, the very first Miss Seattle Teen Pride said that audience members shouldn’t let the beard, shaped brows, winged eyeliner and defined cheeks fool them — she is just a country girl who enjoys plaids and ripped jeans.

The chameleon of Seattle, Jessica St. Laurent Paradisco, can impersonate classic movies stars, pop divas and cartoon characters.

Drew St. Laurent Paradisco Starr is the “mother Paradisco,” the fairest queen of all, the absolute Disney Queen of Seattle, organizers said.
