Cookies, trees and vendors at holiday bazaars

Bazaars continue to offer holiday items and gifts across the North Olympic Peninsula.

Here is a list of this week’s sales:

JOYCE

The greatest gift

JOYCE — A preview of Joyce Bible Church’s The Greatest Gift holiday sale will be available during the city’s tree lighting ceremony at 1 p.m. at the church, 50470 state Highway 112.

Kicking into full gear at 10 a.m. Saturday, the public is invited to peruse decorated trees, wreaths, fresh-cut trees, a bake sale, books and handmade gifts at the church until 4 p.m.

Also available will be missionaries, music and a live nativity scene.

PORT ANGELES

Christmas fair

PORT ANGELES — The city Parks & Recreation Department will sponsor a Christmas fair at the Vern Burton Community Center on Saturday and Sunday.

More than 40 vendors will be featured at the center, 308 E. Fourth St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Holiday bazaar

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Friends of the Library’s annual holiday bazaar will be held today and Saturday.

From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, a selection of Christmas gift baskets, baked goods and fully decorated Christmas trees will be available at the library, 2210 S. Peabody St.

A toyland will be available for children.

Proceeds will benefit the Port Angeles Library’s children programming.

SEQUIM

Homemade Christmas fair

SEQUIM — The Sequim Prairie Grange will host its 39th annual homemade Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

A bake table and the grange’s kitchen will serve food and lunch at the event at the grange, 290 Macleay Road.

Also featured will be more than 30 vendors.

BRINNON

Christmas craft fair

BRINNON — A Christmas craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Brinnon Booster Club building.

Crafts, food and gifts will be featured at the building, 151 Corey Lane.

Event organizers suggest bringing a camera because Santa will be available for pictures and visitation from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

PORT TOWNSEND

Festival of lights

PORT TOWNSEND — The Unity Spiritual Enrichment Center’s eighth annual Festival of Lights gift and cookie bazaar will span the weekend beginning today.

The festival will be held at unity, 3918 San Juan Ave., from noon to 5 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Hand crafted items, a pet boutique and approximately 1,000 cookies will be featured.

Also featured will be a silent auction and psychic readings.

Proceeds will benefit the Winter Shelter.
