Comic and Arts convention seeking vendors for spring

PORT ANGELES — Squatchcon Comic & Arts Convention is taking applications for vendors its spring convention until Jan. 1.

Presented by Anime Kat, Squatchcon 2023 will take place from March 30 through April 2 at the Vern Burton Community Center and Red Lion Hotel. Event organizers are currently seeking artists, artisans, and small businesses to participate in the artist alley.

Squatchcon is Port Angeles’ first comic and arts convention and a celebration of the unique art, culture, and legends of the Olympic Peninsula.

Part comic convention, part arts market, and part Sasquatch festival, Squatchcon features a market with over 50 local artists, an onsite gaming room, a panel series featuring local arts industry leaders and an all-ages cosplay contest.

Priority in vendors is artists and creators local to the Olympic Peninsula. For application and information, visit https://www.squatchconpa.com.

A limited number of free tables are available for Port Angeles nonprofit organizations and Port Angeles High School students.
