Christmas pipers to play in Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES — Dr. Tom McCurdy and Eric Evans plan to play Christmas tunes on the bagpipes from the viewing tower on City Pier at 8 a.m. Monday through Friday.

“It’s a public service sort of thing,” said Loraine Lovejoy-Evans, Evans’ wife.

The two also expect to make other appearances, but have not set dates yet, she said.
