Pavilion dedication
CHIMACUM — The Rotary Club of East Jefferson County will dedicate the recently completed Rotary Pavilion at noon, Thursday.
Attendees can meet in the main entrance to Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road, between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
The pavilion in the school’s garden was built to support the high school horticultural program.
Participants will also get a tour of recent improvements at the school and eat lunch in the cafeteria.

PORT ANGELES — Deborah Espinosa will present “Debtor’s Prison in Washington State: Advocacy through Visual Storytelling” at 12:35 p.m. Thursday.
The free lecture is part of the Studium Generale series presented in the Little Theater at Peninsula College Forks, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Espinosa will use multimedia storytelling by formerly incarcerated individuals sharing what it’s like for them and their families to try to survive under court-imposed legal debt.
