PORT TOWNSEND — “Let’s Do It (Let’s Fall in Love),” “Lullaby of Birdland,” “Wonderful World,” “Straighten Up and Fly Right”: These are a few of Sarah Shea and Jean Lenke’s favorite songs.
The pair of vocalists will appear in a Candlelight Concert watchable anywhere in the world Thursday at 7 p.m., with admission by donation.
Another in the Trinity United Methodist Church’s series to benefit local nonprofit groups, this concert will raise funds for Olympic Angels, the Clallam and Jefferson county organization providing support and mentorship to children in foster care.

“This is sort of our ‘dive in and stop just talking about it,’” said Lenke, adding she and Shea have become friends while exploring the music they love.
Both women have been talking about doing a recording project of children’s music, Lenke said, so on Thursday they will stir in several songs that will appeal to younger kids.
The concert’s beneficiary is “serendipitous,” she added. Lenke recently heard about Olympic Angels’ work with whole families of foster children, parents and siblings, “and it really touched me.”
While the singers both live in Sequim, they haven’t yet had a chance to rehearse their Candlelight Concert set — but Lenke isn’t about to fret about that.
“We’re professionals. We’ll work it out on the fly,” she said.
“We’ll do some songs as solos and some together” with a jazz quintet backing them up: pianist George Radebaugh, guitarist Chuck Easton, trumpeter Ed Donahue, stand-up bassist Ted Enderle and drummer Tom Svornich.
“They’re all such wonderful musicians,” Lenke said. “They’ll roll with it.”
