Builders expo to offer more than 50 vendors this weekend

SEQUIM — More than 50 vendors will offer building products and services at the two-day North Peninsula Building Association’s 23rd Anniversary Building, Remodeling and Energy Expo.

The expo will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Sequim High School, 601 N. Sequim Ave. Admission is free.

The North Peninsula Building Association (NPBA) executive officer Diana Johnson said she expects more than 2,000 visitors over the weekend.

“Many of our attendees visit our Expo every year because we make the extra step for consumers to give them easy access to the ‘best of the best’ in homebuilding and remodeling,” Johnson said in a press release.

“Whether it’s to help them find a home builder, remodeler, service or supply, we have a wide variety of exhibitors who are eager to share their expertise. We look forward to sharing in the celebration of the trades with our community and to those looking to relocate.”

Seminars are scheduled on both days.

• “Spin Your Meter Backwards with Solar” will be presented from 11:15 a.m. to noon both days.

• “Ductless Heat Pumps: Everything You Need to Know” is planned from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. both days.

• “Lower Heating Cost: Ductless and Inverter Heat Pumps” is set for 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.

• “How to Manage Your Home Energy Cost” will be presented from 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The capstone sponsor of the expo is Clallam County Public Utility District.

NPBA, established 1976, is a private charitable foundation.
