Bring Your Own Art Show drop-off dates announced

PORT ANGELES — Drop-off dates for Studio Bob’s next Bring Your Own Art Show are early next week.

Although the show will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 8, art for the show must be delivered between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Up to three pieces from one person can be exhibited. The fee is $5 per piece. Art can be for sale or not. If it is sold, Studio Bob will take no commission.

This Bring Your Own Art Show will be the 23rd at Studio Bob.

“This incredibly popular local event brings all kinds of gems out of the woodwork,” organizers said in a press release. “Emerging artists have a chance to see work in a professionally lit gallery setting alongside established artists and cherished family works of art, while also having the opportunity to price and sell work with no commission pressures.”

The show will open with an artist reception from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 8. It will feature live music by Tin Sandwich, musical stylings by Marilyn and Marty Kaler with special guest, Bones. Admission is free. The free reception will continue the next day, from noon to 3 p.m. Jan. 9.

The Bring Your Own Art Show is family friendly. Even dogs, if they are nice dogs, are welcome.

Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required.
