Bremerton skaters to perform in Port Angeles on Sunday

PORT ANGELES — Two skaters from the Bremerton Figure Skaters club will perform at the Port Angeles Winter Ice Village on Sunday.

The skaters will warm up after the daily 3 p.m. ice resurfacing and then will perform the 30-minute show, said Leslie Robertson, events manager for the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce, which operates the skating rink at 121 W. Front St.

The skaters will perform solo numbers from routines the holiday ice skating show, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, which will presented next weekend at the Bremerton Ice Center.

Willa Devine will skate to “I Believe in Santa Claus” and Danica Sebastian to “My Favorite Time of Year.”

The rink will be open to public skating as usual as soon as they are done.

The rink is open daily through Jan. 2. Skating hours are from noon to 9 p.m. with breaks for ice resurfacing at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Daily admission, which includes skate rental, is $15 for ages 13 and older and $10 for ages 3-12 with a $3 discount for those who bring their own skates. Senior, active military and family discounts also may be available at check-in.

Additionally, there is an all-ages season pass available for $150.

Children younger than 3 are not allowed on the ice.
