Black Feathers duo, Song Club performances set

PORT TOWNSEND — Rainshadow Recording is hosting performances tonight and Friday night in Port Townsend.

The Black Feathers, a U.K.-based singer-songwriter duo, will perform at The Palindrome at Eaglemount Cidery, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road, at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Tickets are $20 each from https://black feathers.brownpapertickets.com or at the door.

Proof of vaccination is required for entry.

The Black Feathers is made up of Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler, who combine Americana, folk and acoustic Indie rock sensibilities.

Having already built up a loyal following in the UK, The Black Feathers has been spreading its wings across the U.S.

The duo has performed at Philadelphia Folk Festival and AmericanaFest, and has also been awarded official showcases at the North East Regional and Far-West Folk Alliance conferences.

On Friday night, Song Club Live! will provide a concert at the Wheeler Theater in Fort Worden State Park at 7:30 p.m.

The Friday Night Song Club is a collective of song writers from the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

This will be second Song Club live show.

Celebrating more than 70 episodes of Song Club Radio Hour, Song Club Live will feature performances from MarCo, Wilderness Carwash, Von Wildenhaus, Memory Land, Night Wizards, Nico Janssen, Caleb Thompson and Stephen Gilbert, among others.

This concert series is produced by Rainshadow Recording as part of a new collaboration with Matt Miner, former producer of the Northwind Songs concert series held at Northwind Arts Center before the pandemic.
