PORT TOWNSEND — A St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebration featuring the band I Draw Slow from Dublin, Ireland, will benefit KPTZ radio station.
Doors for the 7 p.m. Saturday concert will open at 6:30 p.m. at the Palindrome, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road.

A portion of the proceeds will help fund the station’s planned move to Fort Worden.
I Draw Slow combines American folk and Irish storytelling traditions.
Their debut album with Compass Records, “Turn Your Face to the Sun,” was released in 2017.
The band first drew attention beyond Ireland’s shores with their 2011 release, “Redhills.”
Fueled by a prominent Spotify playlist placement and a video suggesting both 1890s bordello and 1920s speakeasy, the song “Goldmine” became the album’s breakout track, according to the group’s website.
Their follow-up album, 2014’s “White Wave Chapel,” reached No. 2 on Ireland’s iTunes chart, driven in part by the video for “Valentine,” which featured “Game of Thrones” star Aidan Gillen.
