PORT TOWNSEND — Early Music at the Grange will present Flûtes-en-Bois at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The baroque flute ensemble will perform at Quimper Grange, 1219 Corona Ave.
Admission is $20 per person. The doors will open at 1:30 p.m.
The ensemble, consisting of baroque flutists Nayoung Ham, Liz Hunter, Carla Tachau Lawrence, Miguel Rodé, Marty Ronish and Molly Warner and cellist Lee Inman, is directed by Janet See.
The wooden, one-keyed baroque flutes are the type of instrument for which all 18th century flute music was written.
Flûtes-en-Bois performs music of the 18th century and carefully selected works of 19th and 20th centuries that have been transcribed by Douglass Hjelm, ensemble member Miguel Rodé and by former member Charles Cooper.
