Authors, poets to provide free readings at Centrum’s Port Townsend Writers Conference

PORT TOWNSEND — A varied group of authors and poets from Washington state and across the country will give free public readings — and answer questions from listeners — tonight through Saturday during Centrum’s annual gathering of writers.

To find the links to the readings, visit Centrum.org, click on the Writing menu, select Port Townsend Writers Conference and scroll down to the public readings.

Each live-streamed event this week will begin at 5 p.m.; online viewers should join just a few minutes prior to that start time.

Videos of the readings will be archived for later viewing via Centrum.org, said George Marie, program manager of the writers conference. Centrum’s website also has information about the conference’s many workshops offered online this week.
