PORT ANGELES — Artrageous will paint giant works of art, dance, sing and make music in a show presented by the Juan de Fuca Foundation of the Arts on Thursday.
The show will be at 7 p.m. in the Port Angeles High School auditorium, 304 E. Park Ave.
Tickets are from $15 to $35, depending on seating, with those for people 14 and younger $10.
Ticket outlets are online at www.jffa.org as well as at Port Book and News in Port Angeles and Joyful Noise Music in Sequim.
Artrageous members paint “at electric speed” while the work is accompanied “by amazing vocals, creative choreography, high-energy live music and unforgettable audience interaction,” said Dan Maguire, executive director of the Juan de Fuca Foundation for the Arts.
“Giant artworks jump to life with amazing speed, unveiling larger-than-life icons and masterpieces in just moments,” he said in a news release.
“Meanwhile, there is constant activity on stage, attracting your attention and delighting your senses with energy, spirit and action.”
A signature of the Artrageous troupe, from the time they formed in Vancouver, B.C., is interaction and engagement. Patrons should come prepared to be part of the show.
