ARTJAM 2019 set for Lavender Weekend

SEQUIM — These artists are once again ready to jam.

The 11th ARTJAM event will host 11 artists working in metal, wood, canvas, clay and paper to demonstrate their work for the Sequim community and others during the 2019 Lavender Weekend.

Free and open to the public, ARTJAM is set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Sunday at the restored barn at Rock Hollow Farm, 505 E. Silberhorn Road.

A family-friendly, interactive experience, this year’s ARTJAM features art by Lynne Armstrong (acrylic and watercolor landscapes, still life), Brian Buntain (contemporary jewelry), Ed Crumley (contemporary jewelry), Mary Franchini (mixed media contemporary paintings), Tammy Hall (driftwood sculpture), Stephen Portner (wood furniture), Susan Gansert Shaw (watercolor, acryclic and pastel contemporary landscapes) and Linda Collins-Chapman (pottery, sculpture), plus guest artists Ross Brown (sculpture), Clark Mundy (copper) and Sharman Owings (painting).

ARTJAM features a community art project and music. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and stroll the trails at Rock Hollow Farm, to “leave your mark” on the grafitti wall or add to the community painting.
