SEQUIM — Marilyn Hiestand and Anne Grasteit will demonstrate eco-printing and collage at 1 p.m. Friday.
The free event will be at Blue Whole Gallery, 129 W. Washington St. in Sequim.
Hiestand and Grasteit will demonstrate how to use various items found in the environment for printmaking.
Hiestand is known for eco-printing on silk and Grasteit uses eco-prints in collage. Both enjoy the ability to use what is found around the yard when creating their art.
Attendees will have the opportunity to create an eco-print for themselves, using techniques demonstrated by the two artists.
