Artist presentations planned in Port Townsend on Saturday

The free presentations will be at 10 a.m. at the Pope Marine Building on Madison Street.

PORT TOWNSEND —Artists involved in the Visual Edge program of Artist Trust of Seattle will offer their final presentations at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The free presentations will be at 10 a.m. at the Pope Marine Building on Madison Street in Port Townsend.

Several other arts events organized by the nonprofit Artist Trust — including workshops and showcases — are planned through Sept. 24 at various venues in Port Townsend.

Port Townsend is the final stop of a statewide tour, which already has visited Spokane, Bellingham, Tacoma and Seattle.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, office hours will be conducted for the artists at the Centrum Foundation, 223 Battery Way.

At 2 p.m. Saturday will be the “How to Build Your Audience Online” workshop at the Pope Marine Building. The cost is $20 to $25.

At 2 p.m. Sunday will be the “Writing Your Artist Statement and Resume” workshop at Northwind Arts Center, 701 Water St. The fee is $20 to $25.

At 7 p.m. Tuesday a free Literary Edge instructor reading is planned at the Northwind Arts Center.

At 7 p.m. Sept. 24 will be the Literary EDGE final presentations at the Joseph F. Wheeler Theater, 25 Eisenhower Way. Admission will be free.
