A variety of entertainment is scheduled on the North Olympic Peninsula this weekend.
• Port Angeles Community Players Children’s Theater will present the play “Merry Men” by Kemuel DeMoville, in a re-imagined telling of a familiar story at 7 p.m. today, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday outdoors at the Port Angeles Community Playhouse at 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children; they are available only at the door.
Audience members are asked to bring chairs and sunscreen. Face masks are not required.
• Disney’s Frozen Jr by Ghostlight Productions begins today and Saturday.
The 60-minute musical designed for student performers is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation. It will be performed on weekends through Aug. 21 at the Sequim High School auditorium, 533 N. Sequim Ave.
Show times are 7 p.m. today and Saturday and Aug. 19-20, as well as 2 p.m. matinees on Sunday and Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 20-21.

• Salish Sea International Butoh Performance Gala will present a one-night-only show on Saturday that features stage performances by Katsura Kan from Kyoto, Japan, Yuko Kaseki from Berlin, Germany, and Jacquelyn Marie Shannon from Brooklyn, N.Y.
The show is at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. at the USO Hall at Fort Worden State Park, 25 Eisenhower Way, Port Townsend.

• Northwind Art, 701 Water St., in Port Townsend, will present the work of Dana Weir and Helga Winter in a show that opens today in the Jeanette Best Gallery.
An artist meet-and-greet is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday.
• Olympic Music Festival will present the beginning of its summer season at Wheeler Theater at Fort Worden at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Other concerts are planned Aug. 27-28 and Sept. 10-11.
All seats are $40, except for tickets to GardenMusic on Aug. 27-28, which are $60; youth ages 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Student and group rates also are available.

This weekend, fellows and mentoring professionals will perform Mozart’s operatic Piano Quartet in E-flat major and Brahms’s nostalgic Clarinet Quintet, featuring Avery Fisher award–winning clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein.
• The Sequim Elks will present a dance from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The band ECHO will perform ’50s, ’60s music as well as oldies, standard rock and rockabilly at the lodge at 143 Port Williams Road.
Admission is $10 for members and $12 for guests. Dance lessons at 5:45 p.m. are available for another $5.
• The Port Townsend Brewing Company will feature the North Olympic Peninsula rock and roots band, Locos Only, today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the beer garden.
No cover charge is needed to attend at 330 10th St., Port Townsend.
•The Sequim High School Class of 1982 will celebrate its 40-year reunion today and Saturday.
The celebration begins tonight from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4760, 169 E. Washington St.
A party is set for 7 p.m. Saturday at a mystery location; details will be released this evening.
• Second Saturday Garden Walk is set from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Fifth Street Community Gardens, 328 E. Fifth St.
Clallam County Master Gardeners Jan Barton, Audreen Williams, Bob Cain and Laurel Moulton will discuss vegetable gardens. Topics include tomato problems, weed management and harvesting Allium, a genus of plants that include onions, garlic, shallots, leeks and chives.
• The Quilcene Historical Museum’s 13th annual Tasting Gala will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, followed by a circus show and movie on Saturday.
The theme for the gala at Worthington Park, 151 W. Columbia St., was inspired by the 1881 Renoir painting, Luncheon of the Boating Party and intended to welcome guests to a summer party in le jardin, organizers said.
On Saturday, the UP UP UP Crane Truck Circus Show will start at 7 p.m. while a free showing of Disney’s A Bug’s Life will begin at 7 p.m.
Admission is by donation, with refreshments and free popcorn available.
• Masonic Lodge in Port Angeles will host a swap meet and a car and bike show at the temple from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Proceeds from Saturday’s fundraisers will support repair and renovation of the temple at 622 S. Lincoln St.
• Mount Pleasant Community Association’s annual flea market will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
There will be indoor and outdoor tables and light refreshments will be available for purchase at the hall at 2432 Mount Pleasant Road.
• Saint Vincent de Paul’s flea market will be from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today and Saturday at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 213 W. 11th St.
The sale features more than 20 tables including glassware, cookware, luggage, movies, jewelry, clothing and collectibles.
