Art League to host monthly reception in Port Ludlow

PORT LUDLOW — The Port Ludlow Artist League will host its monthly artists’ reception from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Sound Community Bank lobby and The Gallery at Osprey Ridge Drive and Oak Bay Road.

The Artist of the Month for April is Georganne Muse of Port Ludlow.

Muse utilizes Conte’ crayons, pastels and oils in her art. Recently, she began experimenting with acrylics.

Her paintings are inspired by nature.

The featured Jeweler of the Month is Judy Danberg. She has collected beads from all over the world, including Alaska, Mexico, France, Italy, Portugal and Ireland.

Some of the beads are new; others are centuries old and Danberg incorporates them into one-of-a-kind pieces.

For the month of April, the Bay Club will exhibit the varied work of the Collage Group.

Throughout the month of April, the League is exhibiting collage artwork created by a host of Olympic Peninsula artists at the Bay Club, 120 Spinnaker Place.
