COYLE — Classical guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Andre Feriante will perform at Concerts in the Woods at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
The all-ages concert will be at the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center, 923 Hazel Point Road.
Admission is by donation. Complimentary cookies and coffee will be served at intermission to guests.
“Feriante is an internationally recognized, award-winning guitarist who has studied with the great Andrés Segovia in Madrid and has gone on to compose for guitar and create his own sound on multiple instruments, including the ukulele, banjo, harp guitar and the charango,” said Norm Johnson, series organizer.
He has performed for more than 30 years in Europe, South America, and the United States.
He blends classical, flamenco and Brazilian styles.
Feriante has released 13 solo recordings in his career. The latest two albums are “Novella, Ukulele Mosaique” and “Beatles Masquerade.”
