PORT ANGELES — Tonight’s Drink and Draw at Studio Bob’s will feature actors from the Port Angeles Community Players production of “Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery” as models.
The actors will pose for three 20-minute sessions with a 10-minute break in between at the studio at 118½ E. Front St., Port Angeles.
Drink & Draw doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the first pose at 7 p.m. Attendees must show proof of vaccination. Art supplies are provided, or people can bring their own. All ages are welcome, as well as nice dogs, organizers said.
Admission is free. Refreshments — beer, wine, ciders, seltzers, soft drinks and snacks — are available for purchase.
Studio Bob has been hosting Drink & Draw since 2014, welcoming all levels of artistic skill to this free event to draw models chosen from all over the community.
Today, the models will raise awareness of the Port Angeles Community Players production which will run from Feb. 25 through March 14 on Friday through Sunday and Tuesday.
Director Marissa Meek describes the show as “a recipe for merry mayhem with a dash of horror for spice.”
Set in 1889, the play stars Tim Thorn as Sherlock and Peter Stone as Watson. Designer Curt White has helped complete wigs and costumes for 10 actors to play 40 roles.
