Warrants issued for three burglary suspects

PORT ANGELES — Arrest warrants have been requested for three people suspected in a string of burglaries and car prowls between Sequim and Port Angeles during the past two weeks, authorities said.

They are for Cory G. Smith, 35; Tina Woods, 46; and her husband, Paul “Bud” Woods, 37.

All three are from the Bremerton/Poulsbo area, the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office said.

The trio are being sought on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree organized retail theft, second- and third-degree malicious mischief, felony and misdemeanor criminal conspiracy and second-degree possession of stolen property.

They are wanted in connection with the burglaries at Hartnagel’s Port Angeles, Port Angeles Power and Equipment, and Leitz Farm Store-Sequim on July 20.

Smith’s identity was established as the result of Clallam County deputies coordinating with the Bainbridge Island Police Department, the sheriff’s office said.

The identity of Tina and Paul Woods was established as a result of anonymous tips received through the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
