Vehicle stolen in Poulsbo located near Joyce

Deputies searching for suspect

JOYCE — Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputies have recovered a vehicle that was stolen in Poulsbo and are now looking for the person who stole it.

On Friday deputies responded to Salt Creek RV Park looking for a suspicious vehicle that had been described as a silver Saturn SUV.

When they arrived they learned the vehicle they were looking for had just left toward Joyce. After talking to residents in Joyce, deputies were unable to find the Saturn but learned that there was a possibly stolen Mercury Cougar at the Salt Creek RV Park.

After returning to the Salt Creek RV Park, deputies found the tan Mercury Cougar with a window broken out. They learned it has been stolen in Poulsbo earlier this month.

Anyone with information about the stolen Mercury Cougar is asked to call dispatch at 360-417-2459 and ask to speak with a deputy. Anonymous tips can be left on the Clallam County Sheriff’s website at www.clallam.net/sheriff.
