PORT ANGELES — Donald William Kingsley has pleaded not guilty to first-degree child rape and first-degree child molestation.
The 30-year-old Port Angeles man is charged in Clallam County Superior Court for crimes he allegedly committed against an 8-year-old girl.
A one-week trial was scheduled Friday for Nov. 13. A pretrial status hearing is set for Oct. 13.
Port Angeles police allege that Kingsley raped the girl Aug. 24.
Kingsley was arrested Sept. 7 shortly after police listened to a conversation between Kingsley and the alleged victim’s father.
Both charges against Kingsley carried a special allegation that Kingsley used his “position of trust, confidence, or fiduciary responsibility” to commit the alleged offense.
Kingsley is being held in the Clallam County jail on $100,000 bail.
Should he post bail, Kingsley is prohibited from having any contact with minors.
