Port Angeles man sentenced for hotel robberies

PORT ANGELES — A Port Angeles man has been sentenced to more than six years in prison for a pair of hotel robberies in Port Angeles last year.

Colin R. Bradley, 34, was sentenced to 75 months in prison followed by 18 months community custody April 16 after pleading guilty to single counts of first- and second-degree robbery, Clallam County Superior Court records show.

Port Angeles police said Bradley took $300 from a clerk at the Port Angeles Days Inn on Sept. 15 and $500 from a clerk at the Port Angeles Inn on Nov. 29.

Both robberies occurred at about 2 a.m.

Police said Bradley was armed with a knife and was wearing a Barack Obama mask when he committed the second robbery.

Bradley was arrested without incident Nov. 29 at the Port Angeles Inn, where he had been staying with his mother, police said.

Bradley was charged in a previous case with first-degree theft for allegedly stealing $5,266.51 from the Port Angeles Days Inn.

According to court documents, Bradley, who worked at the hotel as a night-shift employee, was processing refunds at the hotel and credited the funds to his own bank account.

Bradley was ordered to pay $5,266 in restitution in the theft case, according to the minutes of his sentencing hearing.

Bradley was being held Friday at the Washington Corrections Center near Shelton.
