PA man faces child sex charges, will appear in court on Friday

Judge grants five-year, 1,000-foot no-contact order for alleged victim

PORT ANGELES — A Port Angeles man is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Clallam County Superior Court on four child sex charges following his arrest a week ago.

Shae Alan Pozarzycki, 32, faces charges of second-degree child rape, first-degree incest, third-degree child rape and first-degree incest.

Pozarzycki appeared in court Tuesday and made bail Wednesday. Judge Simon Barnhart granted the prosecution’s request for a five-year, 1,000-foot no-contact order for the alleged victim and any children younger than 16.

According to court documents, Pozarzycki allegedly committed the second-degree child rape between Oct. 31, 2022, and Dec. 25, 2022.

It is a Class A felony, punishable by up to life imprisonment and/or a $50,000 fine. It also counts as a “three strikes” offense punishable by life imprisonment without possibility of parole.

Court documents say Pozarzycki allegedly committed the first act of first-degree incest between Oct. 31, 2022, and Dec. 25, 2022.

It is a Class B felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine.

Pozarzycki allegedly committed the third-degree child rape on or about Sept. 23, 2023, court documents state.

It is a Class C felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.

According to court documents, Pozarzycki allegedly committed the second act of first-degree incest on or about Sept. 23, 2023.

It is a Class B felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine.
